MyLocalPlumbers.uk lists plumbers across the UK, shows which have been checked against the Gas Safe Register, ranks them by what verified customers say, and lets you contact them directly. Plumbers pay once for a Verified or Featured listing — there is no subscription and no per-enquiry charge.

Checks you can see
A firm shows as Verified only once its Gas Safe number has been checked against the register. Firms we added from public trade directories say "Registered company, not yet verified" until they claim their listing and pass that check.
Verified reviews only
We confirm with the plumber that the reviewer was a customer, without showing them the review first. Plumbers can never edit or remove a review.
Your details stay yours
An enquiry goes to the one plumber you chose and to no other firm. No lead selling, no follow-up calls from strangers.
Where the listings come from
Most firms on MyLocalPlumbers.uk were added from public trade directories, so a customer can find a local plumber even if that firm has never heard of us. Those listings carry the name, town and contact details the directory published, and they say “Registered company, not yet verified” until the firm claims them.
A firm claims its listing by giving us its Gas Safe registration number, which we check against the register record we hold for the listing (or by hand on the Gas Safe Register for a listing we added from a directory). We email a code to the address the firm signed in with, then check straight away that the address is at the firm's own website. Once that check passes and the firm has paid the one-time £19.99 Verified fee, the profile shows as Verified, with the register details on it.
We built it this way because gas work is one of the few home jobs where checking the tradesperson is a legal matter, not just good sense (HSE: domestic gas FAQs). A directory that hides who has been checked does not help with that, so we show it on every profile.
